Our Shul has adopted Ohad Ben Ami (Ohad Ben Esther) who is being held hostage in Gaza.

We ask that all the community davens for his safe and swift return together with all the other hostages. If you would like to send a letter or email to his family expressing your support and solidarity, the Board of Deputies will arrange for them to be forwarded to his family through the Israeli Embassy.

Each hostage is an individual and each hostage must not be forgotten.

We have yellow ribbon pin badges available to purchase in the Shul office. They are to raise and maintain awareness of the hostages.

Minimum donation £3 per badge. All profits are going to charity to support the victims of terror and their families.

Israel was just waking up, getting ready to dance with the Torahs. Within hours, more than 1,400 people were murdered, thousands injured, and over 240 individuals abducted by terrorists.

In the weeks that followed, our heroic IDF soldiers have done all they can to rescue the abducted and combat the terrorists. And Jews and non-Jews around the world have risen to support the residents of the Holy Land. Mitzvahs, donations, good wishes, prayers, and assistance have poured in non-stop.
